Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee - I'm Not 100% Sold!

I’m always on the lookout for unique and exciting coffee blends. So when I heard about Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee, my curiosity got piqued. I mean, who doesn’t love the idea of combining two of our favorite beverages – coffee and whiskey? But before I give my verdict on this blend, let me break it down for you.

Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee

Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee Smells Amazing!

Let’s start with the positives. The smell of this blend is killer. You’ll get that strong, rich aroma of whiskey the moment you open the bag. You’ll want to dive into it right away. And yes, the coffee gets aged for 30 days in a Bourbon barrel, which gives it that distinct flavor. But this is where things get a little disappointing. The taste doesn’t quite match the smell. I mean, it’s not bad, but it’s not great either. I expected the taste of whiskey, but instead, I got a bitter flavor that wasn’t quite to my liking.

Having said that, I know that everyone has different taste preferences. So, don’t let my experience discourage you. You might end up loving this blend. If you’re a fan of bitter coffee, then this blend might be right up your alley. As for me, I’m sticking to my regular coffee for now.

Coffee Whiskey Combo

It’s worth mentioning that this blend is a combination of coffee and whiskey. But, it doesn’t taste like whiskey per se. It’s more like a subtle hint of whiskey flavor. So, if you’re expecting a bold whiskey taste, you might get disappointed. But if you’re looking for a unique coffee blend with a hint of whiskey, then this might be worth trying.

If you’re not sold on Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee, don’t worry, there are plenty of other exciting blends to try. I have three personal favorites that I’d love to recommend to any coffee lover. First, the Mexico blend. If you’re looking for a bold, full-bodied cup of coffee, then this blend is for you. Second, the Costa Rica blend. Its smooth, nutty flavor is perfect for anyone looking for a milder coffee experience. And finally, the Breakfast Blend. It’s a classic blend that’s perfect for jumpstarting your day.

Conclusion:

Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee is an interesting concept. It might be worth trying if you’re a fan of bitter coffee or looking for a unique flavor. But, don’t expect it to taste like a shot of whiskey in your coffee. At the end of the day, everyone has different taste preferences, so give it a try and see if it’s a match for you. And if not, there are plenty of other exciting blends out there to explore.
